The car was stolen between 2-5am 31st October 2010 from my apartment car park, taken for a royride and torched.

 

The interior is completely ruined, the paint on the roof and C pillars is blistered, the wiring appears it might be OK, the rest of the bodywork is fine, wheels are fine, no major leaks of fluid were evident, unless it emptied its contents before its final resting place in Victoria Park, amongst massive amounts of donut marks.

 

The car has been deemed a write off... So I will paid out the insured amount and I get to keep the car. Thanks Shannon's Insurance... I guess ticked the right boxes when I signed up.

 

Its at its new resting place for a while until I can find a good home for us both and start doing the repairs. Come back in 12months or so and see whats happened... actually in the mean time Im sure I'll get it to a point where I can at least drive/race it... it just wont look pretty...

 

These pictures are of where the car was found, in Victoria Park after the mongrel thieves had their fun. Luckily they didnt do a very good job of burning it or doing burnouts.... the driveline seems fine but only time will tell really if any internal damage has been caused. But they certainly didnt pop the tyres...
